Visit of representatives of Service Agency in Estonia

19.02.2016 Within the project “Improving the Quality and User-centricity of Georgian Public Services” organized by the Economic Policy Research Center in cooperation with the Praxis Center for Policy Studies, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, on 28-29 January representatives of Service Agency of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia; Data Exchange Agency of Ministry of Justice; State Procurement Agency; Public Service Development Agency and the Economic Policy Research Center paid a study/working visit to Estonia. Within the project framework Service Agency presented two types of service, which are under organization’s management – electronic auctions system and registration of strict accounted forms

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia Tea Akhvlediani met with the delegation members at the Embassy of Georgia to discuss the priorities of the Embassy and the results of the visit.

The main aim of the visit was to raise the quality and user-centricity of Georgian public services through introducing design management principles and tools so that the services would better fit to users’ needs and expectations. The seminars were held during which the delegation members were introduced to the Estonia’s experience in designing services and improving existing solutions.

Within the framework of this project in May and September Estonian experts’ mission in Georgia is planned. During the visit trainings will be conducted where participants will be able to share experience. Project ends in October.
